Boy 15 arrested after teenager brutally stabbed to death 

Police investigating the murder of a teenage boy in Notting Hill have arrested a 15 year old boy on suspicion of murder. 

The boy is currently in police custody and is awaiting questioning by murder detectives. 

Police are appealing for anyone who may have any information to come forward following the murder. 

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at approximately 20:45hrs on Sunday, 3 July, to Portobello Road, W11, following reports of a teenage boy who had been stabbed.

Officers attended the scene and immediately administered first aid and CPR. London’s Air Ambulance were called and arrived a short time later but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. 
Although formal identification has yet to take place detectives are satisfied that the deceased is 17-year-old Folajimi Orebiyi from Kensington and Chelsea. His next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 5 July, at Westminster Mortuary. 
Detectives from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating led by Detective Chief Inspector Laurence Smith.
