Urgent: Autistic boy with mental age of five missing

Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a severely autistic boy who has gone missing this afternoon. 

James Norris is 16 but has a mental age of five. He has been missing from his home in Norbury Crescent, Norbury, SW16 since shortly after 16:00hrs this afternoon, Monday 13 June.

He is unaware of where he lives, doesn’t know the local area and may be a danger to himself. It is unknown what direction he travelled in after leaving home. He does not have access to any money.

He is described as white and 5ft with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue polo top, blue jeans or trousers, trainers and black glasses.

Searches are ongoing in the local area.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference CAD 6341.
