Three 12 year old girls have been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after taking ecstasy tablets in Salford, Greater Manchester.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed the girls became ill after they took tablets called ‘Teddy Tablets’ on Saturday evening.

All three girls are described as being in a serious condition.

Officers are now investigating how the children managed to obtain the drugs.
