Police Officer Charged With Child Sex Offences

A serving police officer has been charged with child sex offences.
Police Constable Alistair Leiper, 36, based on Westminster Borough, was charged on Tuesday, 24 May with:

– one count of making indecent images of children;

– one count of attempting to cause a child to engage in penetrative activity;

– four counts of attempting to cause a child to watch a sexual act.

He will appear on bail at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 16 June.
He was suspended from duty on the date of his arrest on 27 August 2015.
