Leicestershire Police launch ‘Electoral Malpratice’ investigation

Leicestershire Police have confirmed they have launched a criminal investigation following an allegation  of “electoral malpractice” 

The allegation is related to a poll to select the new Police and Crime Commissioner which relates to the ballot on May 5th 2016. 

Labour Police and Crime Commissioner Willy Bach was selected for Leicestershire and Rutland winning a majority with 19,883 votes. 

It was announced today that Devon & Cornwall Police were investigating electoral fraud against Alison Hernandez
