Police have this evening been authorised to charge Stefano Brizzi with the murder of a on duty Police Constable.

Detectives discovered the human remains of Gordon Semple after a bad smell was reported to police.

Stefano Brizzi aged 49 of Peabody Trust Estate, in South London, has been charged with murder.

Police have been unable to determine the cause of death due to the condition of the remains this will delay the cause of death and have an impact on a formal identification.
