Police concerned after woman seen being forced into a car. 

Police are continuing to appeal forthe public’s help after a report of concern for a woman in Newcastle.
Earlier today (Friday, APril 8) police received a report that a member of the public had seen a woman being put into a car by two men in Pandon Bank at around 1.45am on Friday, April8.
The woman had previously been sittingon the pavement opposite Melbourne House.
The witness said a silver car with twomen inside stopped alongside the girl, before one of the men put her intothe car before driving towards the Quayside.
Enquiries are ongoing into the incidentand police have further information about the description of the woman.
She is described as white, approximately21 years old, slim build with blonde shoulder length hair and was wearinga light coloured knee length dress.
The men are described as being agedaround 50-years-old and one of the men had a large build.
Officers would like the woman or themen who picked her up to get in contact as they want to ensure she is safeand well. 

Anyone who thinks they may know who the people involved are orwas in Pandon Bank early this morning is also urged to speak to police.
Any taxi drivers who were in the areaare also urged to get in contact.
