Police appealing for driver to come forward after 6 year old hurt 

Police are appealing for the driver of silver vehicle to come forward after a collision involving a six-year-old girl on Parliament Road in Middlesbrough.

The incident occurred on Friday 22nd April between 6:30pm and 7:00pm.

The driver, who is described as an Asian male, initially stopped to see if the girl was ok but then left the scene without leaving his details.

The girl sustained bruising to her left ankle but was otherwise uninjured.

Anyone with information regarding the collision or anyone who witnessed it is asked to contact PC Amanda Stokes from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 072036
