Emergency Services Dealing With Tractor & Train Crash in Roudham

Police are currently at the scene of a collision involving a train and tractor at a level crossing in Roudham.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Hall Road at approximately 12.30pm (Sunday 10 April) – police, fire and ambulance are in attendance.

The train had 135 passengers on board at the time of the incident and about half-a-dozen passengers are reported to have minor injuries, including cuts, bruising and suffering shock.

The tractor driver has suffered serious injuries. The train has been damaged but not derailed as a result.

Emergency services remain on scene along with British Transport Police.

The road has been closed while the incident is dealt with and motorists are advised to avoid thearea as the road will be closed for some time.

Train services will also be delayed.
