Body found in search for missing junior doctor Rose Polge

Police have found a body in a search for a missing junior doctor, Police have confirmed a body has been recovered from the sea in Dorest.

Rose Pole aged 25 worked at Torbay Hospital in Devon has not been seen since she went missing on February 12th. 

The body was recovered from the sea at East Portland Headland. Although a formal identification has not yet taken place the family of Dr Rose Pole have been informed.

Police released a statement confirmed that they are working on the belief that the body is that of DR Rose Polge.

Before going missing DR Polge had parked her car near Ansley’s Cove in Torquay. A note was left to her loved ones before she went missing.

Police have also confirmed that a hoodie was found on the beach which was confirmed as belonging to DR Polge.
