A serious incident closed part of Carrick Street in Hartlepool for approximately one hour. 

The incident happened just after 5pm on Wednesday 16th March 2016. 

Cleveland Police set up a scene guard while forensic experts examined the scene. 

Cleveland police have are believed to have attended following reports of an incident invloving which said to have involved two men in balaclavas attacking a man. 

They are believed to have left the address in a black Ford Fiesta.
