Cleveland Police are investigating after a targeted attack caused the death of a young lad who who has not been named. 

Paramedics and doctors carried out a blood transfusion and open chest surgery at the scene of the incident.

Officers have closed the area to traffic while a police investigation is underway.

Crime Scene Investigators have been conducting a forensic examination of the scene.
