Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a store in Wixams this morning (Sunday 28th February).
Two men with their faces covered with scarves entered Budgens, in Brooklands Avenue, at 7am before threatening staff with a weapon.
They stole cigarettes and alcohol before making off.
Detective Inspector Aaron Kiff said: “This was a very distressing incident for the members of staff involved.
“I would urge anyone who has any information, or saw any suspicious activity in the area this morning or during the last few days, to call police.”
