Police are appealing for help in tracing a Hollesley Bay prisoner who has absconded. 

Officers were contacted by the prison at 8:35pm this evening, Thursday 14 January, reporting that 30-year-old Scott Rowland was missing following a roll call. He had last been seen at 5pm.

Rowland is serving a sentence of 5 years and 6 months for aggravated burglary and robbery. 

He is described as white, 5ft 11in tall, of medium build, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has tattoos on both arms.
 He has connections to London.

 Anyone who may have seen Rowland, or who has any information regarding his whereabouts, is asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101.
