Armed police are hunting two men after shots were fired in a McDonald’s restaurant car park in Hull.

Two people were inside a blue Volkswagen Golf when it was fired at outside the fast food outlet at the city’s St Andrews Quay.

They were not hurt but the windows of the car were blown out by the shots.

The suspects, in a grey Volkswagen Golf, made off from the scene and are being hunted by the police.
Police received an emergency call at 11.35am today, from a member of the public reporting a number shots being fired in the car park of McDonalds Restaurant, St. Andrews Quay, Hull.

Firearms officers, the police helicopter and specialist dogs are involved in the investigation.
