Detectives in have launched an attempted murder investigation following a stabbing in Enfield.

At around 05:30hrs on Monday, 28 December, a 34-year-old man was attacked from behind and stabbed in the chest in the Green Street area of Enfield.

Although the victim’s phone was taken after falling from his pocket, officers do not know the motive for the attack.

The victim was taken by London Ambulance Service to an east London where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The suspect was a lone male however the victim was unable to provide a description.
