Greater Manchester Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in the face at the Harpurhey Shopping Centre in north Manchester.

Two men are believed to have came into the store as friends however a fight broke out inside tbe store.

One man a 31-year-old was stabbed in the face with a garden fork.

Police have confirmed a man was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody.
