Nathan Matthews, stepbrother of teenager Becky Watts has been found guilty of her murder and dismembering her body, his girlfriend, Shauna Hoare, 21, has been found guilty of manslaughter.
Matthews claimed he had killed her after panicking during an attempt to kidnap her but denied murder.
The pair were also convicted of conspiracy to kidnap Becky, perverting the course of justice and preventing a lawful burial.
Matthews, 28, suffocated his 16-year-old stepsister while trying to kidnap her from her home in Crown Hill, Bristol, in February.
The pair then cut up and attempted to dispose of Becky’s body.
Matthews, of Warmley, South Gloucestershire, was found guilty of Becky’s murder, while Hoare, of Bristol, was acquitted of murderch but convicted of manslaughter.
Both were found guilty of plotting to kidnap Becky in a sexually motivated plot due to a shared desire for petite teenage girls.
Hoare was also convicted of perverting the course of justice and preventing Becky’s lawful burial by dismembering and hiding her
Two other males James Ireland, 23, and Donovan Demetrius, 30, were both acquitted of assisting an offender.
They will be sentenced on Friday
