Residents in Hampstead have launched a crowdfunding scheme to pay for their own police officers.

They are looking for their own dedicated team of police officers after residents noticed a rise in crime following the cuts to policing within the area.

The average house will cost you £1.5 Million in Hampstead. The residents have already raised £180K to spend on its own dedicated police officers.

The Met Police have confirmed that Hampstead is one of the safest areas in London.

This week we reported that a community in Essex has already turned to a private policing firm to keep their streets safe from crime.
