TVP sacked Special Constable for failing to secure pepper Spray 

Chief Constable Francis Habgood has sacked another Police Officer without Notice, This time for failing to secure pepper spray.

The special constable Declan Canavan was dismissed for gross misconduct following a special case misconduct hearing.

They found the special constable breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour for Orders and Instructions and Discreditable Conduct, contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2012 when it was discovered in April that he had failed to secure his incapacitant spray (Captor).

Chief Constable Francis Habgood and Deputy Chief Constable, John Campbell sacked him without notice.
