Serving Police Officer Arrested Over Fake Police Officer Kidnap Claims

In December 2014 all West Midlands Police Officers were pulled from the streets and stopped responding to 999 calls for a period of time.

The forces control room recieved a call stating a police officer within West Midlands Police was going to be kidnapped and Killed.

Officers reported back to police stations across West Midlands and stopped attending emeregency calls. Now police believe it was a hoax carry out by a West Midlands Police Officer.

That police officer Pc Amar Tasaddiq Hussain, has now been arrested  and charged with suspicion of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice in connection with false information given to police about a terror plot to kidnap an officer.

Police have arrested three menaged 25, 28 and 31 years old and all from Birmingham.

The men allegedly made a ‘false and malicious’ call to West Midlands Police on December 8 last year.

Professional standards arrested the 28 year old cop on suspicion of misconduct in a public office and misuse of police systems.

The other men have further been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit misconduct in a public office.
