Police Officer Sacked Without Notice for Posting Offensive Image To Twitter

A Cheif Constable has sacked one of his officers without notice for posting a pornographic image to his personal Twitter account.

Pc James Ferguson was dismissed without notice from Thames Valley Police for gross misconduct.

He breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour for orders and Instructions and Discreditable Conduct, the force said.

The officer denied any breaches however
Chief Constable Francis Habgood and Deputy Chief Constable John Campbell still sacked him on Wednesday.
