Four men have been arrested following a proactive operation by officers from the Met’s Special Project Team.
At around 15:00hrs on Tuesday, 22 September, the four men were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary after they gained entry to a residential address in Eaton Square, Belgravia.
The operation was pre-planned and intelligence-led. Armed officers were in attendance as a precaution. No shots were fired, but distraction devices were used by police.
The four men – we await details of ages – were taken to a central London police station where they remain in custody.
