Appeal for Witnesses to Collision Involving Mobility Scooter, Saltburn

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision which involved a Vauxhall Insignia and a 73-year-old man who was driving a mobility scooter.The collision took place at around 4.50pm on Thursday 10th September at the junctions of Windsor Road and Macnay Street in Saltburn.

The 73-year-old driver of the mobility scooter is currently detained at James Cook University Hospital with serious head injuries.

Any witnesses to the collision who have not already spoken to police are asked to contact PC Sharon Smith from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 158802.
