Urgent Appeal Missing 81 year old man suffers Alzheimer’s

Have you seen missing man Ashton from Rutland?
81-year-old Ashton Baines was last seen at around 6pm last night (Tuesday 4 August) at the residential home in Manton where he lives.

Ashton suffers with Alzheimer’s and other medical conditions.

He is described as white, of slim build, around 5ft 10ins tall with grey receding hair. He is believed to be wearing a black fleece, dark blue shirt, green trousers and brown shoes.

PC Anthony Jones, from the Missing from Home team, said: “We had two possible sightings of Ashton in the areas of Edith Weston and Normanton last night but he is a fast walker and walks easily unaided so he could have travelled some distance by now.

“We and his family are extremely concerned for his welfare and I would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen him or knows where he is, to please urgently get in touch with us.”

Anyone with information about Ashton is asked to contact police on 101 and quote incident number 652 of August 4.
