Two men escaped and fled a burning car after it crashed into the front garden of a house, leaving two people dead and another seriously injured.

It is believed that there were five males in the car, which overturned and burst into flames in the garden of a detached house in Branton, near Doncaster earlier today.

The driver is believed to have lost control whilst racing another vehicle at high speed.
