Police Constable Ernest Ewa, 38, a probationary Metropolitan Police Service officer has been dismissed without notice following a special case hearing chaired by Assistant Commissioner Helen King.
The officer faced allegations that his conduct amounted to a breach of the standards of professional behaviour in respect of discreditable conduct. The matter was reported to the Directorate of Professional Standards by an MPS colleague.

On Wednesday, 15 July, PC Ewa appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court and pleaded guilty to possession and also to publishing extreme pornographic images and videos that were of an obscene nature.
PC Ewa will be sentenced at Southwark Crown Court on Monday, 7 September.
The Chair found the allegation proven as gross misconduct.
He was subsequently dismissed as above.
