Two footballers and a personal trainer have been named as victims of the Shoreham air crash as police continued to search the scene in fear that more bodies may be found.

Worthing United footballers Matthew Grimstone, 23, and Jacob Schilt were on their way to play in a match against Loxwood FC at Worthing’s Robert Albon Memorial Ground when the plane hit the A27.

The pilot, British Airways pilot Andy Hill, is fighting for his life in hospital in a critical condition.

The A27 in Shoreham is expected to remain closed for some time.
