Man with life-threatening injuries after being stabbed at Notting Hill Carnival 

At approximately 1300hrs today, Monday, 31 August, a man suffering stab wounds – believed to be aged in his 20s – presented himself at a London Ambulance Service treatment centre on Treverton Street at the junction with Ladbroke Grove.
He has been taken to a central London hospital, where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
Enquiries are ongoing to ascertain where the stabbing took place.
Three 18-year-old men have been arrested on suspicion of GBH. Two of the men were also arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and the third was also arrested for possession of Class B drugs.
As of approximately 1500hrs, there have been 28 arrests in relation to Notting Hill Carnival today:
– Drink drive x 2
– Criminal damage x 1

– Possession of offensive weapon (blade) x 5

– Drugs offences x 8

– Sexual offences x 1

– GBH x 3

– ABH x 1

– Other x 7

These arrests are in addition to the 126 arrests that were made at Notting Hill Carnival yesterday.
