Police spotted a sheep on the back seat of the Peugeot 206, When stopped and asked why they had a sheep on the back seat they simply replied they had taken it to ‘McDonalds’ for a takeaway.
No it’s not a April fools, Officers encountered the sheep on Wednesday night, Officers Chris Marlow and Emma Bainbridge were alerted by a member of the public who had spotted the car at leeming Bar Services.
The sheep was from the drivers farm, he was given a ticket for the tyres and allowed to go on his way.
Officers decided the sheep was not classed as an insecure load as the incident was similar to carrying a dog in the car.
