Ashington Police Investigate theft of tools

Police are appealing for information following a theft in Ashington.

It happened between 11pm on Tuesday,August 4, and 8.15am on Wednesday, August 5, when offenders stoletools from  the boot of a insecure car parked at Park Villas.
Tools stolen include an orange Stihhedge trimmer, Dewalt drill, a full set of Makita tools, cordless drill and a Black and Decker grinder.
Enquiries into the theft are underway and anyone who may have information to help or have been offered the tools for sale is asked to contact police.
Motorists are also reminded to secure their cars and remove any valuables from display.
