Police are appealing for information after a collision involving a Ford Mondeo, a pedestrian and three parked cars on Wilson Street in Hartlepool.
The incident occurred yesterday, Monday 24th August, at around 6.30pm when a blue Ford Mondeo was travelling from Mulgrave Road onto Wilson Street.
The Mondeo was in collision with a 42-year-old male pedestrian, who was taken to the One Life Hospital in Hartlepool where he was treated for a fractured left elbow and was later released. It also collided with three parked cars, a Volkswagen Golf, a Ford Transit Van and a Ford Focus. The driver of the Ford Mondeo did not stop at the scene.
Police would like to trace the driver of the Ford Mondeo and would urge them to come forward. Anyone else who may have witnessed the collision or may know who the driver is, is asked to contact PC Tina Lackenby from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 147935.
