Twitter has today confronted abuse on the social media site with the launch of a new dedicated “Safety Centre”. 

Twitter has been subjected to high profile media coverage following threats and abuse of user from so called trolls. 

Former CEO Jack Costolo admitted in February that Twitter “sucks” at dealing with trolls.

So Twitter has now launched the new safety centre to “promote good digital citizenship”.
