Man Arrested after baby girl offered for sale in Manchester. 

A man has been arrested following a suspicious incident in the city centre today.
Shortly after 2.30pm on Sunday 12 July 2015, a man with a baby in a pram approached a member of the public on Deansgate near Barton Arcade and is reported to have offered to sell him the baby.
Police have now arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of child neglect. He remains in police custody for questioning.
The three-month-old girl is safe and well.
Detective Inspector Liam Boden said: “We would like to thank members of the public and the media for their assistance in publicising the appeal earlier today. We havenow arrested  a man on suspicion of child neglect and will be questioning him in relation to the incident as we try to establish the full circumstances.”
