A murder investigation has been launched after a man was fatally stabbed in Tottenham.
Police were called shortly after midnight on Friday, 5 June to reports of a man injured at Northumberland Park, N17.
Officers responding to the call found a 22-year-old victim collapsed on the street having suffered what appeared to be a stab wound.
Police treated the victim until the arrival of London Ambulance Service (LAS).
Despite the efforts by the LAS and London Air Ambulance medics to revive the man, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.
Officers have arrested three men [A – 40, B- 55, C- 36] and two women [D – 42, E – 47] in connection with this incident.
All five were arrested on suspicion of murder and taken to a north London police station.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC) investigate.
