Specialist officers from the Metropolitan Police Child Abuse Investigation Team would like to hear from anyone who attended St John’s Ambulance First Aid classes held in Grange Road, Harold Hill between 1978 and 1983. 

Detective Constable Paul Swift of the Metropolitan Police Child Abuse investigation team said: 

“We are keen to hear from anyone who attended these classes during those years. 

“We have received number of allegations covering this period and to keen to hear from anyone who attended First Aid classes at the time. 

“We have been working with our colleagues from the NSPCC and if you don’t wish to speak to police I would urge you to speak to them to get any support that you need.”
