Detectives investigating the murder of a Gateshead man in 2012 have arrested two men.

John ‘The Badge’ Roberts, who was 32,  wasfound murdered inside his house in Park Terrace, Winlaton  on Sunday, December 16, 2012.

Today, Thursday, May 14, officers have arrested two men, aged 42 and 45 years, on suspicion of murder.  They are currently in custody helping police with their enquiries

Officers are continuing to appeal forinformation into the unsolved murder and anyone with any information isasked to contact detectives on 101 ext 69191, quoting reference 1084 16/12/12,or by ringing Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
