Man in a serious condition after being shot twice

Police are appealing for information after a man was shot in Newcastle.
At 5:56pm on Saturday, May 30, police received a report from the ambulance service that a man had been shot inside an address in Scarborough Road. 
Officers attended the scene and a 32-year-old man was taken to hospital with two gun shot wounds to his leg and a minor head injury. He is in a serious but stable condition. 
Police believe that this has been anisolated incident and that there is no threat to any members of the public, however extra officers are in the Scarborough Road area this evening carryingout enquiries and reassuring local residents. 

Anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident and who witnessed any suspicious people or vehicles, or anyone with any information, is asked to contact police on 101 ext69191 quoting reference number 915 30/05/15 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

Urgent search for missing boy wearing school uniform

Cleveland Police have launched an urgent search for missing Stockton 12-year-old Morgan Davis who left with his school uniform and backpack.

Police say he has gone missing from the Oxbridge area of Stockton and a search has been underway since Friday night.

He was last seen on Friday at 7.20pm near to his home he has bee described as wearing “school uniform (black blazer, black trousers with a white shirt, black shoes and a grey tie) however, it is possible he has changed his clothing.

“He will have a black backpack with him. Morgan is described as being white (pale complexion), 4ft 3in tall and of slim build. He has short, mousey blonde, hair.

Anyone who sees Morgan or knows his whereabouts is asked to call Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number E174609.

BREAKING British and French scrambled to North Sea

British and French jets have scrambled to the North Sea amid reports that Russian planes have entered the UK airspace.

The RAF Typhoon fighter jet is supporting Airbus Voyager plane deployed from Newcastle after 3pm today.

The French have also supported in the deployment supporting with a fighter jet.

In total four jets were seen over the North Sea on mapping.

The RAF has declined to comment on the situation describing it as an ongoing military operation.

Missing Rachel Turnbull last seen at North Tees Stockton

Police are urgently appealing to trace missing 27-year-old Rachel Turnbull, who was last seen in the area of the University Hospital of North Tees in Stockton at around 4.25pm this afternoon, Wednesday 19th September.

Rachel is originally from Peterlee and may have travelled back towards there.

She is described as a white female, around 5ft 7” tall and was wearing mousey brown hair in pig tails, jeans and grey trainers. She has lime green nail varnish on her finger nails, and had with her a white handbag with large black patches on it.

Anyone who may have seen Rachel or may know of her whereabouts is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101.
