Nigel Farage leader of UKIP has said he will begin rationalising all 43 police forces if he becomes Prime Minster.

He has confirmed he believes there is a strong arugument for rationalising all 43 forces by joining them together to make bigger police forces.

He plans to reduce the amount of forces from 43 in a bid to cut costs.

The conservative party have already caused police stations to shut due to huge budget cuts imposed on policing. Today’s announcement will take that further and force full police forces to shut.

He plans to reduce costs and bureaucracy within the police.

Ultimately it will be front line police officers and support staff that will lose out.
