Man attacked outside of takeaway suffers fractured eye socket.

A man sustained a fractured eye socket after he was attacked outside a takeaway, in Altrincham.

At about 3.10am on Saturday 7th March 2015, a man was waiting for a taxi outside a takeaway on Railway Road when several men approached him. 

They knocked him to the floorand repeatedly punched and kicked him in the head, before running away towards the train station. 

As a result of the attackthe 24-year-old victim received a fractured eye socket. 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the assault. 

Detective Constable Sonia Johnston of South Manchester division said: “This unprovoked act ofmindless brutality left a man with a fractured eye socket, not to mentionthe emotional trauma he suffered. 

“I would urge peopleto look at this image carefully and if you think you recognise this man,please call us.”
