Images from the Hatton Garden Jewel Heist have been released by the flying squad.

Detectives from the Met Police flying squad have released images from the Hatton Gardens Heist.

Detectives have released pictures of the scene officers found as they arrived on the scene following the Easter Weekend heist at the Hatton Gardens Safety deposit vault.

One image shows the giant hole which the thieves drilled through the concrete wall into the vault, they used a heavy duty Hilti DD350 drill.

The whole itself measured a staggering 50cm deep, 25cm high, and 45cm wide.

Detectives have revealed the vault was covered in dust, debris with the floor being covered in a number of power tools that included angle grinder, concrete drills and crowbars.
