Boro cops left red faced after raiding wrong address

Detective Constables from Cleveland Police have been left red faced after an early morning raid on the wrong house.

Officers smashed their into the wrong address and simply left a note saying sorry.

The incompetent operation was carried out on Wednesday morning at 7.30am in which eight Cleveland Police officers stormed the flat in Edinburgh on Pennywell Road.

The working family had just left for work, after cops failed to gather correct intelligence on the address.

Only after drilling out the locks and forcing entry officers the noticed they had targeted the wrong address.
