Fire crews are currently on the scene of blaze at KFC in Wellington Square in Stockton.

Cleveland Fire Brigade confirmed only one fire appliance attended KFC following reports of a fire. 

With the Brigade confirming that the interior of KFC has not been damaged following a bush fire close to the restaurant.

However the building has suffered fire damage. 

The fire is now under control and a police investigation will now be launched.
