Police are appealing for the public’s help to find missing 13-year-old Tashanna Walker from Scarborough.
Tashanna was reported missing from home on the afternoon of Sunday 15 March 2015.
Police believe that Tashanna may be heading to London where she has connections and are appealing to anyone who may have seen her since Sunday either on public transport, has given her a lift or has seen her in any service stations on roads leading out of Scarborough and North Yorkshire, to contact them.
Tashanna is described as black, around 5ft 7in, with brown eyes and long black hair worn in braids.
When she was last seen she was wearing khaki green parker coat, black skinny jeans or leggings, white trainers and was carrying a white bag. However, it is possible that Tashanna has changed her clothes since leaving Scarborough.
Police are concerned for Tashanna’s welfare due to her age and the belief that she is trying to travel to London on her own.
Extensive searches have been carried out overnight in the Scarborough area and further afield and those searches remain ongoing today.
Anyone who believes they have seen Tashanna or knows of her current whereabouts, is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1 and pass information to the Force Control Room.
