Police shocked as members of public shout jump to man who falls to his death.

Police have today condemned onlookers who shouted jump and filmed a man who officers say was in a distessed state. 

Police had been attempting to talk the man down from a tall building. 

Officers have described the incident as ‘Sick’ with west Merica Police calling the whole incident “appalling” officers were attempting to get the man the assistance he needed. 

He suddenly jumped to his death and was pronounced dead at the scene on Saturday. 

Police have today confirmed they will be taking action agaisnt anyone sharing the footage. 

Officers were called to the incident at 1310 hours on Saturday following concerns for the man’s safety. 

Det Sgt Mark O’Connor said: “We do not condone such behaviour, and would hope that the local community would work with our officers to provide information regarding those who committed the cruel taunts.

“This was clearly someone who was in need of support.”

“In response to the activity on social media, the origin of any comments or material that is deemed to be unlawful will be investigated and appropriate police action will be taken against any identified individual,” he said.

“I would urge that any person who is in possession of any related material does not publish it any further and ensures it is disposed of.”
