Merseyside Police say man charged with attempting to have a chemical weapon

North West Counter Terrorism Unit and Merseyside Police have confirmed a man arrested over terror offences has been charged with attempting to have a chemical weapon in his possession.

Mohammed Ammer Ali from Liverpool is set to appear before Westminster Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that they have charged a man accused of attempting to have a chemical weapon in his possession between January 10 and February 12.

Merseyside police raided five addresses on February 11th and seized a number of items.
