Man shot in Islington in serious but stable condition

Trident officers are appealing for information and witnesses after a man was shot in Islington.

Police were called at around 2200hrs on Tuesday, 3 February, to gunshots heard in Evershot Road, N4

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a 27-year-old man suffering gunshot injuries.

He was taken by ambulance to a north London hospital. His condition is serious but stable.

Trident officers are investigating the shooting. There has been no arrest at this early stage.

Officers believe four suspects – all black males – made off from the scene on foot.
