Man convicted after flicking beans at Blackpool Police Officer

Police took a man to court after he flicked beans at a police detention officer in Blackpool.

Anthony Raynor flicked three baked beans at a police officer while he was in police custody was hurled before court.

He pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer when he appeared at court.

Raynor aged 35 flicked three baked beans through his cell hatch at the detention officer who then filed an assault claim against him.

He was fined £75 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
