Police are investigating reports that two young female cadets have been threatened with comments of being beheaded.

The men were leaving a Territorial Army centre. The incident which occurred on January 21st near the Army Reserves centre in Alexandra Road in Gateshead.

Police have now released a CCTV image of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

The two men are described as a passenger, black or asian, in his 30s, with short black hair and stubble.

The driver is described as black or asian, in his 40s, of plump / muscular build, black bushy beard and dark clothes.
