A team of emergency service workers are heading off on a 2500 mile rowing race from Monterey California to Honolulu, Hawaii. As they take part in the 2016 Great Pacific race.

The team is made up of Firefighter Matt Knight from Nottingham, Paramedic Jonny Davies from Leicester and Police Constable Darren Clawson from Hertfordshire & Raf Schildermans an engineer from London.

The team are aiming to raise thousands of pounds for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.

The team have already begun training and now need your support to cheer them along the way with their progress.

The team currently need assistance finding cooperate sponsor to help fund equipment for the 2500 race.
